Time for a staff spotlight! Get to know Anna Litofsky, Software for Hardware’s Marketing Coordinator. Anna gets creative by writing and designing whitepapers, blog posts, webpages, advertisements, emails, and more to spread the news about Software for Hardware.
Question: How did you enter the door, frame, hardware industry?
Anna: I entered it about half a year ago when I joined Software for Hardware! Since everyone on the SFH team brings years of industry experience, they’ve been very helpful in showing me the ropes about doors, frames, and hardware. In October 2023, I actually had the opportunity to attend DHI conNextions 2023 and meet many business professionals and products in person, which also helped build my knowledge. There are so many moving parts in this industry, and I’m enjoying being a part of it on the marketing side.
Question: What is your favorite part of working for Software for Hardware?
Anna: Both the Software for Hardware team and our customers are so eager to collaborate, which is great to see. Our customers readily relay feedback about our services, and the team makes changes that incorporate that feedback to create a better product and happier customers. Software for Hardware is very much built around our users to make their lives easier.
That’s why I love getting to sit down and interview a customer to learn how our project management tools have helped their business. I also enjoy the process of taking that conversation and designing it as a case study for other customers to read. Being creative and figuring out clear, visually appealing ways to convey ideas is always fun for me, and I get to do that a lot working here with case studies, whitepapers, and blog posts.
Question: What is a hobby of yours?
Anna: I’m a big fan of reading, writing, and drawing – I include all three because they go hand-in-hand for me. I love getting invested in a good story, designing my own characters, and writing stories about those characters. Comics in particular are a big inspiration, because they combine words and visuals to tell stories in such interesting ways. I definitely bring that passion for meaningful storytelling into my copywriting and graphic design work.
